
Saudi 'Girl' becomes 'boy'undergoes sex change operation A sex-change operation turned Saudi 'girl' into boy, newspapers reported. According to the report, the 20-year-old Saudi boy was brought up as a girl and was to marry another man when he underwent a sex-change operation at a Saudi hospital in Riyadh.The report said that Doctors at the King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh said the boy had some female sex organs but his chromosomes were male and had no womb.
"He suffered from hormone imbalances that gave him some female characteristics," Dr. Bassam Saleh told the Arabic language daily Al Sharq Al Awsat. According to reports, the boy is born in a Saudi village, the girl turned boy had been treated by relatives as a girl before they started noticing his rough voice and body when he was 13 years.
"He told his family he had a strong feeling that he is a boy not a girl," the Arabic Newspaper reported."I was sure I was male ... I haven't used any make-up and never danced with women. I also refused a man who proposed to me. "I had the support of my younger sister who kept pushing me to go to hospital ... she was convinced that I was not a female," newspapers quoted the unidentified Saudi boy.

December 13, 2001 Emergency Cabinet meeting held, vows to liquidate terrorists.
An emergency meeting of the Union Cabinet was held here today under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Cabinet reviewed this mornings event in Parliament when a group of terrorists made an attack in the Parliament premises. The Cabinet observed a two-minute silence in memory of the seven personnel who laid down their lives in the performance of their duties.
"At an emergency meeting today, held under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister, the Cabinet reviewed this mornings events in Parliament. The Cabinet strongly condemned this dastardly assault. It has been an attack not just on a building but on what is the very heart of our system of governance, on what is the symbol and the keystone of the largest democracy in the world," said the Cabinet resolution.
"By the attack, the terrorists have yet again flung a challenge at the country. The nation accepts the challenge. We will liquidate the terrorists and their sponsors wherever they are, whoever they are as our valiant security forces have done in this particular instance. We join the country in paying homage to the seven personnel who have laid down their lives so that the country prevail,' it said. 'The first requisite for the battle is that each of us be vigilant, and that all of us remain united. The assault is yet another reminder that each of us must measure the issue we take up against the challenge that confronts the country." the Cabinet said.

US State Department condemns Terrorist Attack on Indian Parliament
US has no idea about the identity of attackers
'We strongly condemn the outrageous terrorist attack on the Indian
Parliament. No cause can justify the deliberate targeting of
civilians. This brutal assault on the heart of Indian democracy is an
attack on all democracies as well as an attempt to undermine the
efforts of those seeking regional peace and stability, said Richard Boucher, US State Department in a statement."We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of this
attack as well as our condolences to India, which has suffered many
terrorist attacks over the years. Secretary Powell spoke with Foreign
Minister Singh this morning to express our condolences and our
determination to cooperate with India in its fight against terrorism,' he said.'While we do not yet have information on the identity of the attackers,
those responsible should be identified and quickly brought to justice,' he revealed..
