Kanthapuram A P Abubaker Musalliar,
renowned Indian Islamic scholar being received by members of
the UAE Awqaf and SYS representatives
The All-India Sunni Jama-Ath-Ul Ulema general
secretary, Kanthapuram A.P. Abubacker Musaliar, is visiting the
UAE as a special Ramadan guest of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa
bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president. A well learned Islamic
scholar, Musaliar was the Ramadan guest of the UAE government
last year also. Along with 39 other Islamic scholrs from around
the world who are invited by the UAE government to participate
in the month long Ramadan celebrations, Musaliar seems to be
the only Indian scholar to have received such an honour.
