25 allegedly AIDS-infected Asian prostitutes arrested
KUWAIT: The police have arrested an AIDS infected Asian prostitute ring the Kuwait Times reported quoting , security sources. The network consists of 25 girls of various Asian nationalities who had entered Kuwait on visit visas. The Sharq police station investigators had been tipped off on the presence of such a network functioning in both Salmiya and Hawalli areas, and that all 25 girls were HIV carriers.
An undercover agent was assigned to monitor the girls love den for a while and then to make an agreement with the girls' representative for sex with one of them in return for a certain amount of money. Once inside the den, the secret agent gave his signal to the capital investigators to raid the place in Salmiya and nine girls were caught red-handed. Simultaneously the sources added, 16 more girls were arrested in another flat in Hawally. Upon interrogation the girls confessed and admitted to their crime and told the police that they had entered the country on visit visas sponsored by a hotel in Bnaid Al-Gar area. The girls also confessed to being part of an international prostitution network stationed in an East Asian country and that Kuwait was their last stop, Kuwait Times report said.
Some girls claimed that they sometimes had sex with as many as 70 men per day. He further added that since the girls had been in Kuwait for 23 days, the count could be quite terrifying. Meanwhile sources further said that 78 Asian men who had frequented the den of vice were arrested with the help of the prostitutes and that the arrested victims are currently under going the necessary medical tests in preparation of quarantine if they are proven HIV positive.
