Malayali Lady Doctor Treated by Patients

Beware of criminal patients

MUSCAT -A Malayali lady doctor, who is running a private clinic all alone, had two unique patients the other day morning. The two unidentified men entered the clinic in the pretext of getting some treatment, but in the process the patients "treated" the lady doctor in a different manner.

The lady doctor who is running a clinic on the first floor of a building behind the Raymond showroom in the crowded Ruwi High Street was robbed smartly and violently by the apparently Arab/Pakistani gang. While one of the two "patients" used the rubber tube of a medical equipment (measuring blood pressure) to tie both her hands, another patient put a bandage on her mouth. The Dhupatta of her Churidar was used to hold her tightly and rob all the gold ornaments including a chain and ear rings. The two criminals entered the clinic in the morning pretending as patients.

After giving this violent treatment to the lady doctor, the duo fled the scene. They took away all the money and other valuables in the clinic. When the next patient came, the doctor was sitting with her hands tied and mouth shut. This day light robbery in a public place is an indication of the petty crime scenario in the city. So be careful, criminals can enter your place in many ways. "The lady doctor could not shout for help as her mouth was shut. There was no other staff," said sources. (keralamonitor.com)
