Indian School Issue Back in Discussion Forum

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE & INDIAN SCHOOL - BIG BUSINESS

You all may be recalling a recent questionnaire sent by the Management Committee of Indian School requesting parents inputs on various questions that could improve the functioning of the Indian School, Darsait. In fact, the committee members holding various positions in the committee and supposed to be looking after the day-to-day running / affairs of the school are considered to be expertees who possess tremendous knowledge in such activities. However, still they appoint outside agencies for such surveys by paying huge sums thereby using the school funds for nothing but to help some agencies and companies. If this is the case, why do we need such committees.

Who has the account of all these. In fact an institution comes under the Embassy should public a detailed account of their revenues and expenditure in a public meeting or at the web site so that we people will know what they did with school money. Moreover, another circular came up from the school requesting parents contribution for the assistance of poor children. While most of the parens would be more than happy to assist in such cases, what do the school do with the huge sums they are possessing in banks ? Are these funds used for favouring committee members interest ? It is now a days a common scene that students waiting on the sides with donation books for various events at the school. Do we really need to go for all these stupid things. Is this school bankrupt ?

When would our Hon Ambassador stop partying and get into serious business of fulfilling his duties and responsibilities to the Indian community? Its like ceasar playing and partying while rome was burning. The burning issue before you is the Indian School Muladha. Everyone is worried and troubled over it cause little chaildrens future is at stake here. The present pathetic situation of this school is virtually an abuse of our children. We parents are at our wits end and are losing all sanity. We are shocked and in despair over the inhumaneness of the system governing the Indian Schools.
The Board is dissolved. Its like a headless body and a leaderless group. Amazing is not the word for the attitude of the Patron. He felt a group of chosen people were not strong enough nor sufficient enough to manage the Indian Schools but is too comfortable having one man selected to manage it all.
We would like to know whats your vision and objective?
Its only when the honeymoon ends the couple get to know and feel the hardships of a family life. We are biting our lips and waiting for long awaited stop of the fun times of the Patron. We have our fingers crossed too but we have prayers.
The school in Muladha is thriving under the 'care a ****' attitude of the school governance system. The situation is so awaful there that even the students wonder what the have to go there for and we parents wail, whats there for our children?
Things are going out of hand. Please if ever you really can do something to set things right in this school PLEASE LISTEN and PLEASE ACT.

Whatever my friend has written is the only question I would like to ask the His Excellency. Sir why are you reluctant to solve the problems in Indian School Muladha? Why are you so late in constructing a new board whereas you were in a big hurry to dissolve the Board of Directors under Mrs. Manjula Singh Sooresh? What we have to understand from all these? Is it true that you have come for Mr.Mohammadali and Mr.Khimji? Have they bought you? We can't understand all these?

If you are serious about your responsibility as the Patron of Indian Schools in Oman, please do something good for our children. And that too at the earliest. We all are with you. What should I do for my children? After paying a big amount for my three children, if I am not getting anything fruitful from this school why should I sent them there? But still I am doing so just because there is no other option for me. If the system is not going to be changed I am thinking of sending them back to my parents in Kerala. This is the situation with somany other parents here.

So please do something possitive for us at the earliest.

Friends!

By now our "H.E." has shown his true colours. We no longer need to ask what is his agenda. Except for spouting empty words trumpeting his own greatness, he has not done one tiny bit for any part of our community. He is here to shield and protect the unscrupulous Indian businessmen while they plunder and loot our educational institutions.

There is this Sardar ( his famous promise in writing was I shall resign from the ISC once I am appointed ISM Pres - "Yeh Sardar ki zabaan hai"), who is busy assisting the purchase of land worth 30k at 150k, the reason why they had to get rid of MM Joshi so quickly. He knew the whole story and had objected to the purchase. He is busy servicing the egos of the "H.E." and his sidekick Puri to pay any attention to guiding the flagship school.

Let us give up this passive begging attitude. The more you say please to this bunch the more they will treat you with contempt. The only way is to get aggressive and represent to the President PM and HRD Minister of India. Let us join together and ensure that our schools are not made the instruments of power and corruption in the hands of uncaring powerhungry bureaucrats. Sign and send the petition individually and we shall do it collectively soon.

We all know by now how much HE "cares" for "our children and teachers" and for the poor tormented workers.

More power to the brave and relentless ICONs!
