INDIAN & PAKISTANI FIRST 'MARCH MEGA MILLIONS'
WINNERS IN ENOC/EPPCO GRAND RAFFLE

Phatak Dhanashri, an Indian receptionist from Sharjah, and Syed Mohammad Jaffer, a Pakistani TV engineer from Dubai, are Dhs 50,000 richer today after sharing ENOC/EPPCO's 'March Mega Millions' Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) Dhs 100,000 weekly purse.

Their names were drawn from the raffle box containing 180,000 coupons. The sheer weight of the coupons was too much for the box which broke causing a one-day delay to the draw.

"I remember spending Dhs 34 on a can of car lubricant from the Al Gusais EPPCO station near Al Bustan Rotana Hotel and here I am today having won Dhs 50,000," said 60-year-old Jaffer, father of six.

Jaffer has been living in Dubai for 30 years and this is the first time he has won anything during DSF.

Luck didn't wait that long for Dhanashri. She only arrived in the UAE six months ago, settling in Sharjah where she lives with her husband and one child.

"I remember buying a bunch of flowers, some food and a can of coke," said Dhanashri. "I feel extremely happy to have won."

Customers spending Dhs 25 on non fuel related products and services at any of the 52 participating ENOC/EPPCO outlets - which include Quick Lubes Change and Autowash - receive one DSF ticket for the daily DSF Nissan Patrol 4X4 draw plus a ticket for the weekly Dhs 100,000 grand raffle, shared between two winners.

Dhs 300,000 can still be won in the DSF ENOC/EPPCO cash bonanza. There will be six more winners who will be announced in pairs every week during the Festival.
