CISCO SYSTEMS APPOINTS NEW MARKETING MANAGER FOR MIDDLE EAST

Dubai, UAE, October 17, 2004 - Cisco Systems today announced the appointment of Yousef Khalili as Regional Marketing Manager for the GCC. A Jordanian, Khalili is an 11-year veteran of the industry and in the course of his career, he has worked on numerous assignments, key amongst them, Microsoft and the Dubai e-Government initiative.Speaking about the appointment, Ghazi Atallah, General Manager, Cisco Systems Middle East, said, "Cisco is rapidly expanding its business across the entire Middle East region; Yousef will be key to driving that process, assisting me and the senior management at Cisco communicate our product and solution offerings as well as achievements to our customers, partners and the community at large. With his immense experience, Yousef will be able to guide our entire integrated marketing program to match our ambitions in the region.

"The key focus for Khalili in the coming months will be to communicate Cisco's growing interest and presence in the Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) market, as well as its market leadership in the Service Provider, Enterprise and Public Sector segments . He will also work closely with Cisco's technology partners and industry analysts to increase the awareness of the "Intelligent Information Network", Cisco's technology vision and roadmap for the evolution of networks to systems over the next 3 to 5 years. Jordan Commercial Bank Appoints Dr. Jawad Al-Hadeed as New Chief Executive Officer and General Manager

Amman - September 2004 - Jordan Commercial Bank announced that Dr. Jawad Al-Hadeed was elected as the new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager by the Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2004. Dr. Al-Hadeed brings extensive banking and international business experience to the Jordan Commercial Bank. He held the position of General Manager of the Arab Banking Corporation since its establishment in 1990 up until 2000, prior to that, he held the position of General Manager of the Foreign Finance Unit for the Arab Investment Company in Bahrain from 1989 - 1990.

In addition, Dr. A-Hadeed held various prestigious positions in the private and public sector such as Minister of Planning, chairman and member of numerous Boards of Directors for financial and investment entities on a local and regional scale. Dr. Al-Hadeed's financial and business expertise were exemplified when he was a founding member in a number of banking corporations, and he was also involved in nourishing certain financial establishments back operational health. He began accumulating his broad business and professional credentials when he received his CIB license from the university in London. RADISSON SAS JEDDAH APPOINTS NEW SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR

Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts, part of Rezidor SAS Hospitality, which operates 13 properties across the Middle East, has appointed Lebanese national, Walid Haidar, as its Director of Sales and Marketing for Jeddah. He brings experience in the hospitality industry having worked in five star hotels in both Europe and the Middle East.Walid, 25, began his career as a service trainee in Le Diwan Restaurant in Switzerland and then moved on to Geneva’s Hotel Churchill, Switzerland as a Management Trainee. He came to the Middle East in 2002 as a guest services and relations executive at the Burj Al Arab. Walid has a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from L’institut Hotelier “Cesar Ritz” Le Bouveret. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French. “I am positive that Walid’s appointment will elevate our position in Jeddah to greater heights and this will add to our rapid development within the region and in particular Saudi Arabia,” said Craig Senior, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Rezidor SAS Hospitality Middle East.
