Head of Indian School Malayalam Department Head Rolled

One more senior Indian School Teacher has been sacked overnight from a leading Indian school in the Gulf. KM correspondent reports that the Malayali Head of the Department of the elite Indian School in Muscat area has been given sacking orders a few days back following a management decision. Unlike the Indian School Tehran where a Malayali teacher couple was sacked, the Gulf based Indian school has been kind enough to retain the wife of the Malayalam head. Jerry Thomas of Indian School Tehran, who was sacked without proper reasons has managed to stay back in Iran and fight his case. In many cases, they are given the marching orders at short notice. Nobody knows what is the reason for the sacking...but we know it very well. Jerry Thomas, you got one more member to your proposed association of Harassed Indian school teachers..

Thiruvananthapuram -The chairman of Hi-Power Overseas who became rich overnight and a celebrity was not only adorned with a Ponnada at a global NRK meet, but given prestigious and plum posting in a NORKA committee which has 11 other prominent and well reputed NRKs like M.A.Yousuf Ali of EMKE Group, Dr.Vinod Thomas of World Bank, K.P.Mohammed Kutty of Saudi Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre, Dr. Mohammed Ali of Galfar, Abdul Wahab Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre etc. Himamuddin is only 10th standard and no academic background to be inducted in the high profile NORKA education committee. His only qualification being high level contacts with Kerala ministers.

Yousuf Ali and other prominent NRK businessmen who have good reputation and image should feel ashamed to share a committee membership with Himamudin. NORKA Officials did not react to our queries about the reason for inducting Himammudin in the NORKA committee. NORKA also did not explain why he was given a Ponnada (for the next Ponnada many businessmen are now lobbying) and the Ministers who recommended him to the plum post. Dont the NORKA minister and members of NORKA education commitee feel ashamed to share membership in a committee with the criminal still remaining a member. It is high time they distanced themselves from a criminal who has siphoned off Rs. 500 crores from a company in Abdu Dhabi, maligning the image of ordinary NRKs in the Gulf.?..Watch this space.

Is the above story an explanation for NORKA's silence over the Jerry family fate and non interference ?

Why all your leaders are silent, asks an Indian Citizen in Iran?

The Jerry and Family were not given any tickets. However last mid-night about 100 indians gathered outside the school, but school authorities called the police. The watchman Ahmad Aga admitted in presence of police and all Indians who had gathered that school authorities accompanied with Mr. Giro from embassy came to school and broke the lock and threw their assets down in corridors from 2nd floor. This was witnessed by all the teachers living there. All are so terrified that they cannot dare to stand as witness. Not only that all those who gathered last night in front of school had lot of sympathy for Jerry family and a few signed but nobody is daring to come as witness out of fear. Jerry younger son’s nose started bleeding heavily and he fainted Jerry was very much depressed. Full Letter

Gulf Air Disaster Investigation Report Advises Oman Civil Aviation to improve Pilot Training Programmes

Capt Shakeeb, aged 37 and his 25-year-old Omani co-pilot First Officer Khalaf Al Alawi, may have been spatially disorientated as they performed a tight orbit after a failed attempt to land at Bahrain International Airport, says the report. The co-pilot, First Officer Khalaf Al Alawi, should have taken control of the jet, but sat in silence as it plunged into the sea, killing all 143 people aboard.
