Nigerian Man faces death by stoning
A man sentenced to death by stoning for the rape of a nine-year
old girl in Nigerias northern Jigawa State may be the first
to be so executed under the Islamic Shari'ah law in Nigeria
Head of Indian School Malayalam Department Head Rolled
One more senior Indian School Teacher has been sacked overnight
from a leading Indian school in the Gulf. KM correspondent reports
that the Malayali Head of the Department of the elite Indian
School in Muscat area has been given sacking orders a few days
back following a management decision. Unlike the Indian School
Tehran where a Malayali teacher couple was sacked, the Gulf
based Indian school has been kind enough to retain the wife
of the Malayalam head. Jerry Thomas of Indian School Tehran,
who was sacked without proper reasons has managed to stay back
in Iran and fight his case. In many cases, they are given the
marching orders at short notice. Nobody knows what is the reason
for the sacking...but we know it very well. Jerry Thomas, you
got one more member to your proposed association of Harassed
Indian school teachers..

Yousuf Ali and other prominent NRK businessmen who

Himammudin in the NORKA committee. NORKA also did not explain
why he was given a Ponnada (for the next Ponnada many businessmen

The Jerry and Family were not given any tickets. However
last mid-night about 100 indians gathered outside the school,

Aga admitted in presence of police and all Indians who had gathered
that school authorities accompanied with Mr. Giro from embassy
came to school and broke the lock and threw their assets down
in corridors from 2nd floor. This was witnessed by all the teachers
living there. All are so terrified that they cannot dare to stand

front of school had lot of sympathy for Jerry family and a few

has been drawing a salary equivalent to Rs.20,00000 per month

as commission, he always projected a very high profit without
showing any negative aspectson the balance sheet.According to
one report he assumed a senior post in a carribean bank yesterdya.
Whether he resigned during a holiday or absconded from the country
is not clear. But one thing is clear he was suspected to be involved
in multimillion money swindling. Like Enron, Worldcom this Gulf
bank has bad loans exceeding its networth several hundred crores.
