Secular India at a symposium organised by Madhyamam Readers Forum.
Shoukath Ali, the moderator and others and others who spoke on
the occasion were unanimous about the challenges facing the secular
fabric of India from the followers of Godse. Even though pro-BJP
members agreed to participate in the discussion, they could
not attend the heated debate and sharp criticism aired by one
and all against the saffron brigade. The symposium on January
30, the day when Mahatma Gandhi, the freedom fighter, was brutally
