January 26, ?2003 The growing demand for advanced healthcare services is one of the factors that have raised the importance of Arab Lab & Instrumentation, the annual meeting place for the Middle East's laboratory and instrumentation industry, to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 to 6 February, 2003.
Some of the world's leading manufacturers of equipment for healthcare, quality control, environmental solutions, educational technology and analytical techniques will be displaying a wide range of technologically advanced products at the annual show which last year attracted visitors from 46 countries.
"Arab Lab & Instrumentation 2003 has attracted a wider interest from lab equipment manufacturers from all over the world," said David Domoney, Managing Director, International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E). "The recent announcement that Dubai is building a world-class Dubai Healthcare City has attracted the attention of the world's medical society on Dubai, as such a project will create huge demand for healthcare equipment. The world's biggest players in the laboratory equipment will therefore be converging on Dubai to showcase their exhibits to the region's health sector in particular and industry in general."
"Both the Governments and the private sectors have been investing huge amounts of money in healthcare products in the Gulf in recent years and trends indicate that the demand is due to rise further in view of economic development taking place all around," added Domoney.
