1) What is the idea behind starting this writers club from a Gulf country where literature
and freedom of expression are highly controlled by the state?
2.How many writers are members of the club? What is the nature of coordination that
you expect to develop with other famous writers from Kerala/India and other part of the
world?
 
3.Do you think that the growth of Internet usage in India, especially Kerala, will create
more and more online magazines and publications. What is the target/focus of your
online magazine -Shilpi?
 
4. Do you foresee great future for Internet based publishing and marketing of popular
novels and stories. Recent experience of some leading international writers indicate that
the future of Internet based publishing is bleak? Your comments.
 
Gulf countries are believed to be following strict censorship and media control. Do you
feel that such an atmosphere is suitable for an organisation of your nature. It is generally
felt that there is no role for independent writers in the Gulf countries. Your comments.
5. Do you think that large number of expatriate Indians working in the Gulf countries
need a forum toexpress their views freely. What will be the role of your organisation/
online publication in providingsuch a forum?
6.Will there be a mass readership for Internet based publishing? Will it be possible to
ensure success for new creative writings through this medium only as the masses are
not having access to the Internet?
