Jerry, Sheryl Thomas of the Indian school Tehran case is quite opposite to the other Middle east country school cases. There you have the ambassador of India Shri K.M. Meena in Muscat who is very sincere in performance and looking after the Indian National interests. All Indians and well-wishers of India would certainly approve of all such faithfull servants of the I.F.S. of India. I as one of the overseas Indian community member feel proud of him for his commendable service to the country and the nation. I bow to him and feel proud of him unlike here in Tehran we have the Indian Ambassador who is bent to spoil the very good name of India by playing politics in community divide and rule like of the British rule. No India well wisher can approve the all of his deeds. Specially of the Indian schools functioning.
Since his taking charge as ambassador of India, Tehran. All letters written to him to redress the school functioning by various very Important people like Bibi Bhupinder Kaur, President of the Gurudwara Committee telling about the misuse of the school funds and all sorts of irregularities no one can approve. I can produce a bundle of letters to prove his guilt written by all concerned to the school and would like draw the attention of all the people of India that Thomases wrote to various ministries and some news papers seeking justice but all of no use. There is a gupla in the accounts as the Indian schools income is about 20,000 U.S. dollars. No one knows about the spendings all under the shadow and protection of the shield of the buriocratic dictator like ruler worse than the times of the British. No one dares to speak or ask any simple question about the school funds or of the teachers ill-treated, their termination without their fault, because they fear that they will be treated like anti-national, anti-Indian, terrorist by the Embassy. The Jerry and Sheryl Thomas case is a peculiar one. At every point his personal guilt I can prove. Specially I would like to point out to my letter of 13th August, 2002, to the Ambassador, telling about my questioning him about the family?s possible arrest and jail in Pakistan, to which his reply was,"let the couple go to hell. I am not responsible for anything that may happen to them.?"
To this I highly objected. I told him it is his duty to protect the Indian interests, you are the representative of the government of India. You are paid for that by the public of India funds. You are the person responsible , not me or anyone else. During my meeting on 13-8-2002, for over an hour and a half, much was discussed all about my fax letter of 13-8-2002 (which I had send to you), to which he was highly objectionable and tried his best to repudiate all of letter wordings. To sum up the discussions I did point out to him that all that concerns to me is the very sacred name of my country that must not be spoiled in a foreign land. I will strongly, steadfastly stand against and oppose anybody whosoever may try to malign the very sacred name of my motherland, India, to the last drop of my blood.
Since this ambassador took charge the Iran currency Rial has appreciated 20% against the U.S. Dollar, so every one of the students parents? would very naturally expect 20% reduction of school fees, but during the last two years students fees were further raised over 50%. This very clear evidence of the school management committee charges made to pay the parent from all the receipts is itself self explanatory. So many other irregularities like this can be challenged like, some very rich parents are exempted of paying fees, when very poor parents are made to pay. If a prompt enquiry by a selfless sworned judge is made this all can be very well proved. I take all the responsibility to prove my statements which I personally sign.
I would like to appeal to the high officials of the government of India only good Indians should be encouraged and uplifted by all possible means, not only within the country but specially in the I.F.S. and send abroad to represent the country among the other nations of the world. Indian expect better service to protect the good name of India and we the overseas living Indians will certainly not only appreciate but would feel proud of our motherland India. The entire British govt. Throughout their rule they did everything possible to lower and discredit the very name of India. Churchill once in parliament pointed out that a shepherd can control a great number of sheeps. This was his remark towards the Indians they then ruled. Mostly our beloved leaders like Ghandhiji, Netaji, Nehruji, and others did not suffer so that we all should suffer. They wanted us to have a proud name and decent life. They wanted us who are living abroad to be ambassadors of India, each one of us. This made all of us to feel the responsibility and perform to the best of our ability. Sardar Pripuran Singh Haer, Indian ambassador to Tehran, Iran, against whom not only one case of Jerry Thomas family case , but there are numerous other allegations. The Indian residents feel ashamed of our being Indian. If an impartial high level sworn committee is set up to look and verdict passed, you can find out the truth.
His conduct and even character, burglary acts in school management all in his presence are totally illegal and challengeable in every form and context. I have solid undeniable proofs if and when I say about his performance, since he is the patron-in-chief of the Indian school, which he claims belongs to the embassy of India., where all this illegal acts are going on under the shield of the embassy of India. Whereas the school belongs to the Indian community who donated for the building and setting up in Iran. The major donation over three lakhs U.S. dollars of that date, was given by Hindujas. He has used the very name of school as embassy of India school, Tehran, denying to even settle the Thomas?s earned salary and air ticket back to India due to them.
The Thomas's family house was robbed in the school campus. Even dacoity like burglary, breaking locks and doors of the Thoma'?s family house in the school campus, looting all of his movable property and house holds cash , jewellery, most valuable documents, his life carrier certificates resulting in the Thomas?s family?s suffering. Since 17 -8-2002, till now, the family of four Thomas?s are without clothes, money and a place to live properly. Is this RAMRAJYA of India?
The Thomas?s have to not only beg from the people of Iran, but have to approach the Iranian legal authorities for justice. The cases are still in the Iranian courts awaiting justice against our own government of India representatives and all their wrong doings in the name of the embassy of India, who is the representative of the govt. of India, who had tried his utmost to spoil the entire family, specially their two 9 and 12 year old sons who have been thrown out of school and till today are denied education, which is a child?s fundamental right approved by the constitution of India, and the United Nations.
Doesn't it look funny that the president of India in the passports on the very first page requests others to help the passport bearer whereas his own representative plays all illegal and shameless tricks to malign the very name of his own government and the people of India? The Thomases requested the Prime Minister, foreign affairs minister, Education, CBSE board New Delhi and others, even some important press dailies seeking justice, but to their utter disgust even the receipt of their request was not given to them. The very unjustified denial of their own government's unjust behavior, they had to seek the host govt of Iran for justice. I feel ashamed of the unjust done by my own government. The Iran govt humanitarianly did all possible help to listen patiently about the deprived and oppressed family?s grievances and within the limit of their law to provide them required justice is commendable. Anyone of education and respect would feel gratified of the host Iran governments and their people for the help rendered to this family in distress, created by his own government representative.
My major concern is that my motherlands, India's name is not spoiled abroad, otherwise I have much in store to leak out the realities. It is my sacrifice to serve my country to keep quiet because if leaked will certainly lead to spoil the name of my beloved India. This is something my inner conscience does not allow me to speak, lest my motherland's name be spoiled.
Please be good enough to request the press of India on my behalf to question all those who are responsible as I don't have the fax number of the press council of India to approach them directly. Please publish in the newspapers of India. I do not know who is responsible, the government or the people or who among the 1 billion Indians.
