Lame Man Imprisoned for eight years Giving Lame Escuses......

KOCHI - Abdul Nasir Madini, has been imprisoned for eight years without bail or a fair judicial trial because he was allegedly involved in a bomb blast.. Arrested in connection with a bomb blast in Coimbatore which the Tamil Nadu police and the Indian state machinery claim was a terrorist attack, Madani, a popular religious scholar, orator and political activist was put behind bars when his ambitious plan to develop a broad alliance of the minority community and the backward community in India - a deadly combination of class, caste and religion was gaining popularity in the state. His political party, Peoples Democratic Party PDP, known for its rhetorics against the ruling parties, was a major challenge to even the Marxist parties which grew with the support of the minority and backward communities in the state. Madani was arrested a day before he was to start joint procession against a controversial sex scandal case involving prominent Kerala politicians. Later developments indicated that some of the political leaders have a common interst in keeping the man behind bars....

Now he has been Imprisoned for eight years, and the lame man , suffering from diabetics has been reduced from 110 kgs to just over 45 kgs. He. has been imprisoned for eight years without bail or a charge sheet. Even if Madani is a terrorist as claimed by the police, his family has the right to know the exact crime that he has committed. Along with Madani, several members accused in the bomb blast are in the Combatore jail. Apparently a conspiracy was hatched by the powers that be ito keep the man in jail for so long... Is it not a shame that such barbarian rule of jungle still prevails in India, the second largest democracy in the world, where money power and influence can be liberally used to keep anyone like Madani behind bars?. The man with aged parents, wife and young kids is also a citizen of the Democratic Republic of India, with all the due rights and liberties to defend himself... All over the state people are sympathetic to the cause of Madani, not because they share his ideology, but because it is a great injustice..
