Missing Indian School Muscat Student traced in Salalah
Muscat - An 11th standard student of Indian School Muscat who has been missing from yesterday was traced in Salalah, 1000 kms away from here. According to informed sources, the Malayali boy, who was a top scorer of various examinations in ISM, was scolded by his parents for failing in one of the recent examinations. Father Daniel Kutty, an employee of Gulf Agency, and his mother, a nurse were frantically searching everywhere to trace the missing son.
A red alert was sent all over Oman to trace the boy and finally he was located in Salalah. Indian Schools in Oman charge heavvy fees from students and the parents who have more than one chilldren are always tense because of financial pressure. If a student score less mark in the examination after spending huge amount on his education up to 12th standard, normal parents go mad. In this case, the boy was the recipient of best student award from the local Church. The Daniel family is staying near the Mattrah hotel in Muscat. Such cases have occurred in the past too.
