Sohar Indian School Student, Family die in Road Accident

Members of a Tamilian family in Sohar including an eighth tandard student of Indian School Sohar perished in a serious road accident at Madua on the way to Dubai. According to KM sources, the three member family met with the fatal accident during a trip to the neighbouring country for shopping. The deceased include Venkatachalam, Plant Manager, (45), Ibrahim Al Krishi Block Factory, Sohar , wife Krishnaveni, and son Eeswara Krishnan, a student of Indian school Sohar. The family was going to Dubai for shopping on Tuesday when the car hit against an electric post at around 3.30 pm. due to tyre burst reportedly caused by a bottle lying in the road, said sources. The family was in Oman for 11 months and was planning to visit India within a few days. The only remaining member of the Venkatachalam family, the elder daughter is an Engineering student in Madhurai. Deadbodies are kept in Sharjah Hospital. KM.
