From next financial year onwards, new auditors are likely to replace the old ones. However, a review of the audited balance sheet of one of the Indian schools is self revealing. "The income of the schools from collection of fees and any other source will belong to the Association and to no other party," says the agreement. "The Association assumes responsibility for meeting from its own resources any excess of expenditure over income. In the event of income exceeding expenditure, such excess will belong to the Association to be disposed off in any manner it wishes," says clause 4 of the agreement. Five members of Indian School Darsait to leave now

It was only C.N.P.Nampoothiri, Member, MC, Indian School, who behaved like a gentleman and resigned decently from the Indian school Darsait (Kerala Syllabus) as his children were not studying in that school. Other members like the school president Abraham Mathew, committee members S.S.Pillai and K.M Jose retained their position on the advise of the patron.

Auditing firms owned by board members may be disqualified from doing School auditing, norms to combat malpractices in schools.
 
The result of a nationwide survey conducted among the 20,000 odd parents of Indian Schools in Oman are being formulated into a well defined agenda by the board of directors of Indian Schools. The Patron of Indian Schools, the Indian Ambassador, K.M.Meena has already put together the survey results into a draft plan of action and forwarded to the board of directors who will implemented it in due course.
