Instead of blaming

or not? Conduct polling. if we blame Sharon we have to first

lakhs Palestinians fm Kuwait were sent out. Stopped all donations.
Saudi, Egypt, Qatar, Dubai UAE, Oman all other countries also
banned Palestinians & stopped the donations. Still major
Muslim countries do not have Palestinian Embassy or relationships.
So Palestinians hv no acceptance in the Gulf.

as a state guest, all nation together welcome such guests. All
our national leaders, MPs, President & Opposition leaders
also met him & welcomed him. Hence, no wrong done by Prof.
KV Thomas who was given chance to present the replica of 11th

For the same reason we can boycott Bajpai or President.? Once
a Statehead visit our country, all people in our country become
host. Most of the Parliament members, Diplomats & our major
Politicians all have received him. President gave him dinner,
received him, presented him gifts, etc. Now we will all boycott
President of India for that reason.??? Sahron never killed any
Indians. Musharaff the Pakisthan President Killed morethan 1000
Indian soldiers at Kargil war. Daily he is sending trained terrorists

Kerala Tourism Minister, K.V. Thomas, who has been under Opposition
attack for presenting a gift to the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel
Sharon, in Delhi last week, has said he had done so at the behest

had paid for it too, he said. Neither the State Government nor

anything to do with the gift, the Hindu quoted the minister.
Prof. Thomas told the
Hindu that it so happened that since he was in Delhi for an Onam
celebration sponsored by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation,
he was invited to the official
dinner hosted by the Central Government in Mr. Sharon's honour.
As he was standing close to the Prime Minister, the latter asked
him to hand over the gift to the Israeli Prime
Minister, Prof. Thomas claimed.

Thomas' ouster sought

Sept. 15. The Karunakaran group today sought the ouster of the
Tourism Minister, K.V. Thomas, from the party and the Cabinet
for his meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon,
without the permission of either the State Government or the
party
leadership in the State.

Thomas-Sharon meet
had nothing to do with State Govt'
KOCHI: Parliamentary Affairs Minister M M Hassan on Sunday clarified
that Tourism Minister K V
Thomas' meeting with Israeli Premier Ariel Sharon had nothing
to do with the Kerala Government. Hassan told reporters here
on Sunday that neither the government nor the Chief Minister
had given him consent to meet Sharon. Thomas' meeting must have
been a personal affair, he said.
Asked whether the minister's
act amounted to protocol violation, Hassan evaded a direct answer.
Instead, he asked reporters to contact Thomas for more explanations.
On Marad, Hassan said the government decided to rehabilitate
the Muslim families before October 2 considering the opinion
of all major political parties, including the CPM. On Pinarayi's
demand that the government should immediately begin the rehabilitation
process, Hassan said the district authorities have already begun
the process by taking over the relief camps.
He termed the Araya
Samajam's decision to return the solatium offered by the government
as unfortunate. Such acts will not help strengthen society's
communal harmony, Hassan said. KPCC president K Muraleedharan's
decision to share the platform with CPM leaders at the 'all-party
convention' at Marad was Murali's personal decision, Hassan said.
''The CPM has always been the
number one enemy of the Congress in Kerala. The party has been
trying to destabilise the Congress in
Kerala for the last several decades. Any move to join hands with
such a party will be suicidal for the
Congress,'' Hassan said.

leader K Karunakaran's virtues to 'Ambalappuzha paalpayasam.'
''Ambalappuzha paalpayasam is delicious. But will anyone drink
it if it's served in a 'kolambi' (spitoon)?''
